Troop 708 is firmly committed to the need of Scouts to provide volunteer service to their community. We conduct Service Projects on a regular basis. In some cases they are tied to rank advancement. The service may be organized by the Scout, the Troop, or the volunteer agency, and can take many forms, such as:

 

• Troop Trash pickup, Cub Scout Day Camp, Cub Scout Pack activities, Eagle project help, assist other Troops, assist with Junior Leadership Training.

• Church Assist with youth group activities, clean up, fix up activities.

• School sponsored tutoring and mentor programs for younger students.

• Community Food drives, Toys for Tots, Salvation Army assistance, MS150, blood drives, disaster assistance, Habitat for Humanity activities.
